Site Re-opening - Wednesday 2nd December 2020
Update - 3 Tiered Local COVID Alert Levels

As I am sure you are aware, as from Wednesday 2nd December 2020, the Government is re-introducing their 3 tiered scheme for COVID Alert Levels, these being Medium, High and Very High. This changes the way in which we are now allowed to permit access to the site here at Perran Quay.

We fully appreciate that some of the guidelines in place may be confusing and for us with people coming from different areas, with different restrictions, we have made these rules as simple as we possibly can. Please follow all appropriate Government guidelines at all times.

For those who live in a MEDIUM Local COVID Alert Level Area:

• You are welcome to visit the site. We ask that this is done in line with the Government guidelines with the Rule of 6.

• You may interact with people who do not live in your household, both on the site and/or inside your holiday home/touring caravan. Again, please do not exceed 6 people.

• Social Distancing is to be adhered to at all times and face masks are to be worn when visiting the Site Reception.

For those who live in a HIGH Local COVID Alert Level Area:

• You are still welcome to visit Perran Quay, but only to travel here as ONE HOUSEHOLD. We do also accept that sometimes this may also include an individual who is in your ‘bubble’.

• Please do not socialise inside of your caravan/holiday home with individuals who do not live in your household.

• Whilst outside in areas of the site, you can meet with others, but the Rule of 6 must still apply.

• Social Distancing is to be adhered to at all times and face masks are to be worn when visiting the Site Reception.

• Please follow the Tier 2 restrictions in place at your home address, despite Cornwall being in a Tier 1 Area.

For those who live in a VERY HIGH Local COVID Alert Level Area:

• Unfortunately, we are not permitted to allow any overnight stays from those travelling from these areas.

• If you are staying on the site and it has been announced that your local area is to be moving into the VERY HIGH level, then you must return home before the guidelines come into force.

Saturday 17th October - Update - 3 Tiered Local COVID Alert Levels

Following the government's announcement of the introduction of their 3 tiered Local COVID Alert Level system, we must now change the way in which we allow access to the holiday park. This will depend on which level your local area falls into:

  • Whilst outside in areas of the site, you can meet with others, but the Rule of 6 must still apply.

  • Social Distancing is to be adhered to at all times and face masks are to be worn when visiting the Site Reception.

For those who live in a VERY HIGH Local COVID Alert Level Area:

  • Unfortunately, we are not permitted to allow any overnight stays from those travelling from these areas.

  • If it has been announced that your area is to be moving into a VERY HIGH level within a number of days, then unfortunately we will also not be able to allow access to the site.

  • If you are staying on the site and it has been announced that your local area is to be moving into the VERY HIGH level, then you must return home before the guidelines come into force.

If you have an upcoming booking with us here at Perran Quay, and you are currently living in a VERY HIGH COVID Level area or an area which has been categorised to move into the VERY HIGH level during your stay, then unfortunately you will not be able to visit us for your booking.

We would be more than happy to re-arrange your booking for any point in the future and hold all monies paid on account. Alternatively, we could also arrange a refund of any money paid to us if you required this. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.

If you are living in a MEDIUM or HIGH COVID Level area, then you are welcome to still visit the site, but please be aware of our rules and government guidelines depending on your area level.

If you, or any member of your party, has any symptoms of COVID-19, a positive test result, or have been advised to self-isolate, then please do not travel to stay with us here at Perran Quay. We will be taking temperatures on arrival, and anyone who is over 38 degrees Celsius, will not be permitted to enter the site.

These rules for who is permitted to enter the site will continue to operate for as long as the governments tier scheme is in place. We will be constantly re-assessing all of our policies as and when it is required. Our overwhelming aim is to keep all of our guests, as well as ourselves and our staff, as safe as possible throughout these troubling times. If you have any questions regarding any of our policies, please feel free to get in touch with us.
